Trivia Race Game Manual
Objective
Be the first player to reach the end of your row by correctly answering trivia questions. Avoid being eliminated by staying ahead in each color section.
Setup
- Game Area: Set up four rows of eight squares each. Each row should have squares in this sequence: two red, two blue, two green, and two yellow.
- Players: Assign each player to one row. Players start standing on the first square of their respective rows.
How to Play
- Starting the Game:
- Players stand on the first square of their row.
- A game master or an appointed player reads out a multiple-choice trivia question to all players.
- Answering Questions:
- Each player writes down or announces their answer.
- The game master reveals the correct answer.
- Moving Forward:
- Players who answer correctly move forward one square.
- Players who answer incorrectly stay on their current square.
- Elimination:
- Each row has eight squares, grouped into four color sections (two squares per color: red, blue, green, yellow).
- Players within each row must move through these sections by answering correctly.
- The last player standing on each color section is eliminated from the game.
- If multiple players are tied as the last ones on a color section, another question is asked to determine who moves forward.
- Winning the Game:
- The first player to reach the end of their row by stepping on the eighth square wins the game.
- If multiple players reach the end at the same time, they answer a tie-breaker question. The first to answer correctly wins.
Rules
- Each player can only move forward one square per correct answer.
- Players must answer within a set time limit (e.g., 30 seconds).
- The game master’s decisions are final.
- Players cannot change their answers once submitted.
Strategy Tips
- Focus on accuracy rather than speed when answering questions.
- Keep track of your position relative to other players to avoid elimination.
- Pay attention to the strengths and weaknesses of your opponents in different trivia categories.
