Game Setup
Field Layout
First, split the playing field into two equal halves. Next, mark three dividing lines: the centerline and one baseline for each team.
Objects
Place an equal number of objects behind each team’s baseline.
Teams
After preparing the field, divide players into two teams of equal size. Each team starts the game behind their respective baseline.
Objective
The goal is to steal as many objects as possible from the opposing team without getting tagged. Players also need to rescue captured teammates by reaching the opponent’s baseline.
Rules
Starting the Game
Teams start the game from behind their own baseline with all objects placed behind them. The game commences on a given signal.
Stealing Objects
Players must cross into the opposing team’s half to steal objects. To successfully steal an object, a player needs to reach the opponent’s baseline without getting tagged. Upon reaching the baseline, the player can take one object and release one captive team member.
Tagging and Capturing
Players tag any opponents crossing into their half of the field. When a player tags an opponent, the tagged player must wait at the opponent’s baseline until a teammate rescues them.
Winning the Game
The game continues until one team has stolen all objects or until the teams reach a predetermined time limit. The team holding the most objects at the end of the game claims victory.
Game Duration
The game typically lasts between 30 to 60 minutes, but you can adjust the time to suit the number of players and desired intensity.
Required Items
- An equal number of objects for each team (e.g., balls, flags)
- Field markers to define the centerline and baselines
Average Cost per Player
The game remains cost-effective, with the average cost per player varying based on the items used. You can utilize common sports equipment or improvise with available materials.
