Objective

Human Traffic Lights , Be the last player standing by following the commands correctly and eliminating other players through dance-offs and group formations.

Setup

1. Ensure you have a music player with speakers.
2. Designate a person to control the music (DJ).
3. Clear a large, open space for dancing and group formations.

How to Play

Starting the Game

1. Music Phase: The DJ starts playing music. All players must dance around the room.
2. Stop Phase: When the music stops, all players must bop down as quickly as possible. The last person to bop down is out.
3. Command Phase: The DJ announces one of the group commands (listed below). Players must form groups according to the command. Any player not in a group is out.
4. Repeat the Music Phase and Stop Phase with a new command each time.

Commands

1. Strike a Pose: Each player strikes their best pose. The DJ or an impartial judge decides the worst pose, and that player is out.
2. Camping: One player kneels on the ground, and another player stands over them, forming a teepee shape. Any player not in a pair is out.
3. Traffic Lights: One player sits cross-legged on the ground, one kneels behind them, and one stands behind them both. All players must blink with their hands. Any player not in a group of three is out.
4. Top Gun: Three players stand in a line shoulder to shoulder. The outside players pretend to be the wings of the plane, while the middle player is the pilot. One person stands in front of the pilot, pretending to be the nose of the plane. Any player not in a group of four is out.
5. Can Can: Five players line up shoulder to shoulder, link arms, and do the Can Can dance. Any player not in a group of five is out.
6. Brady Bunch: Three players kneel on the ground, and three players stand behind them. All players must clasp their hands and smile. Any player not in a group of six is out.

Final Round

1. When only two players remain, they enter a “shootout.”
2. Strike a Pose Shootout: Both players strike their best pose. The DJ or an impartial judge decides the best pose, and the other player is out.
3. The last remaining player is the winner!

Rules

1. Players must follow the music and commands precisely.
2. The DJ’s or judge’s decisions are final.
3. Players must form groups quickly when the music stops.
4. Cheating or unsportsmanlike behavior results in disqualification.

Safety

1. Ensure the playing area is clear of obstacles to prevent injuries.
2. Players should wear comfortable clothing and footwear suitable for dancing and quick movements.

Duration

The game can last as long as desired, depending on the number of players and rounds played. Generally, it takes about 30-45 minutes.

Cost

Minimal, as it only requires a music player and space to play.
