How to Play

Teams

Divide the players into two teams. Ensure each team has an equal number of players.

Field Setup

Arrange the four bases in a diamond shape on the field. Designate a pitching mound area.

Decide Who Kicks First

Use a coin toss or another method to decide which team will kick first. The other team will field.

Pitching

The fielding team provides a pitcher who rolls the ball towards the kicker on the kicking team.

Kicking

The kicker from the kicking team tries to kick the ball and then runs to first base. The objective is to run to as many bases as possible before the fielding team can get the ball and throw it to the base the runner is heading towards.

Fielding

The fielding team tries to get the runner out by catching the ball mid-air or throwing the ball to the base before the runner gets there.

Scoring

Score a point each time a player from the kicking team runs around all the bases and returns to home plate without being out.

Outs

A player is out if:

  • The ball is caught mid-air.
  • They are tagged with the ball while not on a base.
  • The ball is thrown to a base before they reach it.

Innings

After three outs, teams switch roles (the fielding team becomes the kicking team and vice versa). A typical game consists of 5 to 9 innings.

Rules

Kicking Order

Players kick in a set order determined at the beginning of the game and must follow this order throughout.

Fair Kicks

Kick the ball within the baselines. If the ball goes outside the baselines, it is considered a foul.

Pitching Rules

Roll the ball underhand, and the pitcher should aim to roll it smoothly to the kicker.

Base Running

Touch each base in order as you run. You cannot skip a base or run outside the baseline to avoid being tagged.

Tagging Up

If the ball is caught, runners must return to their original base before advancing to the next base.

Winning the Game

The team with the most points at the end of the designated innings wins the game. In case of a tie, play additional innings until a winner emerges.
