- How to play?
Buy a random collection of items (toothpaste, batteries, etc.). Have contestants guess the price. Closest correct guess that is under the actual amount wins. Guesses that are over the correct amount cannot win.
Objective
In “The Price is Right,” contestants compete to guess the prices of various items. The closest guess under the actual price wins. Guesses over the actual price cannot win.

Game Area

Rules and Gameplay
Setup
- Items Display: Arrange the collection of items in a visible area. Ensure the price tags are hidden from the contestants.
- Scorecards: Provide each contestant with a scorecard and a pen to write down their guesses.
How to Play
- Item Presentation: The game host presents one item at a time to the contestants.
- Guessing: Contestants write down their guess for the price of the item on their scorecard.
- Reveal: After all guesses are written down, the host reveals the actual price of the item.
- Winning Guess: The closest guess that is under the actual price wins the round. If all guesses are over, no points are awarded for that round.
- Scoring: The contestant with the winning guess earns a point. Write the winning guess and the contestant’s name on the whiteboard or flip chart.
