Objective

The objective is to earn the most money by correctly answering clues.

  • Double Jeopardy Round: 6 new categories, each with 5 clues ranging from $400 to $2000.
  • Final Jeopardy Round: A single clue for wagering.

How to Play

Jeopardy Round

  1. Selecting a Clue: A contestant chosen at random selects a category and dollar amount.
  2. Reading the Clue: The host reads the clue aloud.
  3. Buzzing In: Contestants buzz in to answer. The first to buzz in can answer.
  4. Framing the Answer: Contestants must phrase their response as a question (e.g., “What is the Eiffel Tower?”).
  5. Correct Answers: A correct answer earns the contestant the clue’s dollar amount; they choose the next clue.
  6. Incorrect Answers: An incorrect answer reduces the contestant’s score by the clue’s dollar amount; other contestants can buzz in.

Daily Double

  • Two clues in both Jeopardy and Double Jeopardy rounds are Daily Doubles.
  • The contestant who selects a Daily Double decides their wager before seeing the clue.
  • The contestant answers the clue, and their score adjusts by their wager depending on their response.

Double Jeopardy Round

  • Follows the same format as the Jeopardy Round but with higher stakes and two Daily Doubles.

Final Jeopardy Round

  1. Final Jeopardy Clue: The host presents one final clue.
  2. Wagering: Contestants decide their wagers based on their scores before seeing the clue.
  3. Answering: Contestants write their answers within a set time limit.
  4. Revealing Answers: Contestants reveal their answers and wagers.
  5. Scoring: Correct answers add the wager to the score, incorrect answers deduct it.
