Fortunately, Unfortunately

Fortunately, Unfortunately

Indoor

  • Players: 4 – 20
  • Duration: 10 - 15 min
  • Free to play

How to play

The group tells one story, alternating a single rule: sentences must begin "Fortunately…" and "Unfortunately…" in strict turns. "Fortunately, Maria won a free cruise. Unfortunately, the ship was made of cardboard. Fortunately, she had brought her inflatable crocodile…" The whiplash between salvation and disaster writes the comedy automatically, and even shy players only ever need one sentence. Perfect for car rides, campfires, and filling ten minutes with a group of any age.
