Piñata

Piñata

Indoor

  • Players: 5 – 30
  • Duration: 10 - 20 min
  • Average cost: $4

How to play

Hang a candy-filled piñata from a branch or beam with room all around. Players take turns — blindfolded and spun for the classic version — swinging a stick to crack it open while a helper raises and lowers the rope to keep things sporting. Everyone else stands well back behind a marked line until the piñata bursts, then swarms in for the scattered treats. Give each player a fixed number of swings so the smallest guests get a fair turn before the piñata gives way.
