Beach Ball Icebreaker
Write twenty short getting-to-know-you questions all over an inflatable beach ball with a marker. Toss the ball around the circle; whoever catches it answers the question closest to their right thumb, then throws it on. Because the ball chooses the question, nobody can prepare and the answers stay spontaneous. Refresh the ball with new questions for repeat groups, or theme it — team goals for a work retreat, favorites for a youth group, story prompts for a classroom.

Stop the Bus
Everyone draws the same columns on their paper: name, place, animal, food, movie — pick five or six categories. A letter is chosen at random and all players race to fill every column with a word starting with that letter. The first player finished shouts "Stop the bus!" and everyone must drop their pens. Score ten points per valid answer, but only five if another player wrote the same word — so "Paris" is safe and worthless, while "Podgorica" is a gamble for glory. Highest total after five letters wins.

Octopus
Tag game where players must avoid being tagged. Once you've been tagged your arms and legs can be used to tag other people, except your bottom must remain on the floor. The last person to be tagged wins!
