“Chicken Catching” is an exhilarating and fun-filled game where players, divided into teams, try to grab balloons attached to the ankles of players from the opposing team. The balloons are decorated to look like chickens, adding a whimsical touch to the game.

Objective

The goal of the game is for the “catcher” from each team to grab as many balloons from the opposing team as possible within a given time frame. The team with the most collected balloons at the end wins.

Game Setup

1. Players: 6 to unlimited.
2. Age: Suitable for players aged 10 and up.
3. Playing Area: A spacious indoor or outdoor area free of obstacles.
4. Equipment:
   • Balloons (decorated to look like chickens)
   • Tape or elastic bands to attach balloons to players’ ankles
   • Timer
   • Boundary markers (optional)

How to Play

1. Divide into Teams: Split players into two equal teams.
2. Decorate Balloons: Inflate balloons and decorate them to look like chickens. Attach one balloon to each player’s ankle using tape or elastic bands.
3. Designate Catchers: Each team selects one player to be the “catcher.” The catchers are the only players who can grab balloons from the opposing team.
4. Set the Timer: Decide on a game duration, such as 5-10 minutes.
5. Start the Game: On the signal, catchers try to grab the balloons from the ankles of players on the opposing team. Players can move around to avoid having their balloons taken but cannot leave the designated playing area.
